Job Description

What we are looking for:

  • Five years and above working experience
  • Preferably experience in a similar position
  • Ready to work after office hours, at weekends, and on public holidays if required.
  • Outgoing and fun personality

To be successful in IX, we expect candidates to be:

  • Have good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Familiar with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, DWDM solutions, Metro-E technologies, and SD-WAN solutions will be an added advantage
  • Capable of leading technical clarification sessions on behalf of the Company
  • Team player person & willing to explore further to improve knowledge and skills
  • Able to work under pressure & minimum supervision.
  • Strong communication & customer management skills
  • Able to communicate technical solutions and remedial action plans through oral and written communications.
  • Good in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Others will be advantages)

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering or any equivalent field


  • Preparation of presentations about the products or services with all their values for the usage of the Sales Department
  • Creating proposals that clearly articulate the benefits of a product or service offering to a customer to secure a contract or agreement to purchase a product or service
  • Working closely with other members of the sales team to coordinate efforts and identify opportunities for growth in the market
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers to ensure they are happy with products and services offered by the Company
  • Presales Consultants work closely with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that address customer needs
  • Reviewing pricing practices to ensure they are consistent with industry standards
  • Have good relationship with the PIC from the principal to ensure the price quoted by principal is the best offer for the Company
  • Developing solutions and organising, planning, creating & delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations
  • Liaising with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements
  • Ensuring solutions stated in the Statement of Work are best practice and in line with client requirements
  • Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFI’s & RFP, familiar with the SOC process is an added advantage
  • Working closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process
  • Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes
