Design/ Service Engineer

Job description
– Ability to read design drawing & operate generator control panel/switchgear.
– Design customized power generator controls circuit with PLC programming, Networking, HMI and switchgear layout
– Coordinate and manage factory testing in both at company premises and customer’s site (commissioning)
– Providing technical support to Sales Engineers
– Attending technical meeting at customer site with Sales Team
– Trouble shooting with customer for technical issues to meet customer technical requirements.
– Monitor projects status, providing corrective measure, modification and assistance to other department as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

– Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
– At least 2 years design experience in either power generation controls or electrical switchgear or automation control.
– Demonstrate above average electrical engineering skills, preferably within the power generation industry or closely related field. Generator control knowledge is a plus.
– Competent in Microsoft Office Applications.
– Experienced in PLC and HMI (touchscreen and/or IPC) programming.
– Knowledge in network communication and SCADA is a plus.
– Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, drawings, prints or similar job write-up.
– Willing to travel overseas as frequent global site visits is expected
