Innovation Intern

• Work with multiple key stakeholders such as Product Development, Creative, Retail, Digital and Brand teams to drive product innovation, build consumer products and experiences across Singapore / Malaysia / Philippines markets
• Maintain an understanding and scientific foresight of ingredient and product trends in beauty / healthcare industry
• Help identify product and market opportunities by conducting market intelligence and competitor analysis to funnel product launch pipeline
• Support Digital and Retail teams on executing optimization projects for offline and online retail channels
• Actively participate in new product development feedback process of evaluating R&D samples, and analyzing technical and packaging specifications to align with each brand standards
• Conduct due diligence on technical specifications and regulatory requirements for each product SKU to ensure adherence to compliance guidelines 
• Assist in steering product development timelines and keeping track on progress status with timely reporting
• Liaise with Operations & Procurement on internal library of existing supplier base, while researching and identifying opportunities with new potential manufacturers

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have the following attributes: 

• Final-year undergraduate OR Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry / Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Marketing or a related field
• Having a relevant background or passionate for the beauty / healthcare / e-commerce industry 
• Entrepreneurial and flexible mindset with a can-do attitude
• Comfortable and effective working in a hybrid (remote and in-person) environment
• Strong communication skills and scientific literacy
• Ability to pay attention to details and work in a fast-paced startup environment
