Job Brief:

To ensure timely accurate monthly closing

Job Responsibilities:

• Review the work of subordinates (Account Payable module and Fixed Assets module)
• Assist Finance Manager in treasury, costing, taxation, budget, preparation and control, internal, controls, and risk management
• Provide analysis on financial performance and growth opportunities
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and government bodies
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly and quarterly Management and Accounting
• Prepare ad-hoc management reports and report analysis
• Preparation of payment transactions
• Preparation of monthly Cash Flow Statement
• Assist in stock count and Fixed Asset sighting
• Preparation of tax and audit schedules
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly report and analysis.
• Reviewed payment details for consistency and unusual items.
• Maintenance of standard operating procedures in relation to the Accounts department
• Other job as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Qualification : Degree in accounting or equivalent
• Experience : At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar position within a multi-national company. Working experience with audit firms is preferable.
• Skill : • Strong discipline and attention to details • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Work effectively under stressful situations • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting system i.e SAP • Possess good knowledge of Malaysia accounting requirements, tax and company’s act
• Language : Be effectively bilingual in English and Malay
