MySTEP is a programme announced by the Minister of Finance which provides trainings and short-term placements in Public Sector as well as Government Linked Companies (GLCs) and its strategic partners.

    • here are two tracks available under MySTEP namely:
      1. Public Sector
      2. GLCs and Strategic Partners
    • The Service Contract Duration of MySTEP is:
Public Sector GLCs and Strategic Partners
1 – 12 Months 6 – 12 Months
    • MySTEP personnel can be appointed to perform any scope of work stipulated according to the needs of the Ministry/ Department/ GLCs/ Strategic Partners.
    • The actual wage rate offered is based on the type and complexity of the work required by the Ministry/ Department/ GLCs/ Strategic Partners:

Bachelor’s Degree Equivalent 2,000 2,000
Diploma/ Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia Equivalent 1,800 1,800
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) Equivalent 1,600 1,600
No Sijil Pelajaran Malaysian Equivalent 1,400 –
