As a Research Specialist (Quantitative-focus), you will :
- applying mathematical, statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate a wide range of asset types;
- building, researching and validating quantitative models to support investment decision-making;
- undertaking comprehensive research to gain a holistic understanding of market dynamics; and
- generating quantitative insights and investment ideas based on rigorous quantitative analysis.
Apart from strong quantitative and analytical skills, you must possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Fluency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Physics, Computer Science (with a strong mathematical focus), or a closely related quantitative field. Candidates with a strong Bachelor’s degree (First Class Honours or CGPA 3.8/4.0) and demonstrable research aptitude may also be considered.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to distil technical content into structured, persuasive narratives for investment decision-makers.
- Intellectual rigour, attention to detail and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
