Job Description
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To ensure the network services provided to client is always up and running.
- Ensure incident tickets are responded and updated properly, resolved in a shortest time as possible within the SLA.
- Provide technical support and services in resolving complex network issues.
- Notify the management and related parties for high profile issues.
- To make sure all links and network devices are at optimum performance.
- Able to recommend improvement to meet the latest network standard.
- Liaise, coordinate and be involved in projects on service improvement and optimization
- Conducts trainings and knowledge transfer to internal staffs
- Receive escalation from Tier-1/2 on network outages
- Conduct network audit to ensure maximum network performance/uptime
- To monitor, manage & generate monthly report from Firewall
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Telecommunications/Networking or other related areas.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in network connectivity, network security and wireless network industry. Fresh graduates are encouraging to apply.
- Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) requested, or Brocade / Ruckus certifications.
- Knowledge of network routing and switching protocol, an initial technical assessment will be conducted.
- Able to work on standby on-call and over weekend and public holiday if required
- Proficient in written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
