Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily walkthroughs of Data Center facility
• Responsible for day-to-day activities and project work as assigned by internal team
• Proactive monitoring of production system with a sense of urgency when issues arise
• Server, network, and all type of equipment installations
• Understand and debug network, hardware, and server related issues
• Provide remote hands-on for clients
• Utilize and work with vendor when needed to handle issues
• Maintain cabling within Data Center, including pulling or running new cabling, for fiber and CAT6.
• OTDR and light loss testing of fiber optic links
• Maintain documentation and inventories records
• Any other job as assigned by Superior
Requirements:
• Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• 1 – 2 years working experience in related field
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Knowledge in server, network equipment and software support configuration
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team with the team members
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Possess own transport and able to travel
