Nads Media Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor Intern to join our in-house team.

You will work closely with the creative, production, and marketing teams to edit content for films, social media, behind-the-scenes videos, interviews, trailers, promotional campaigns, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
• Edit behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, promotional videos, and entertainment content.
• Select strong moments, soundbites, and visuals to create engaging stories.
• Add subtitles, music, sound effects, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
• Perform basic colour correction and audio clean-up.
• Adapt long-form footage into multiple short-form content pieces.
• Organise footage, project files, proxies, exports, and media assets.
• Assist with filming or content production when required.
• Work on revisions and deliver content according to deadlines.
• Contribute creative ideas for NME’s social media and upcoming productions.

Required Skills

• Currently studying Film, Cinematic Arts, Creative Multimedia, Media Production, Communication, or a related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and music selection.
• Able to edit content for both vertical and horizontal formats.
• Basic knowledge of subtitles, audio editing, and colour correction.
• Familiar with social media trends and short-form video content.
• Able to communicate and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Organised, responsible, and open to feedback.
• Able to work independently and as part of a creative team.
• Must have a portfolio or editing showreel.

Added Advantages

• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or Canva.
• Experience in filming using mirrorless cameras.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, sound design, or colour grading.
• Interest in Malaysian films, entertainment, and social media marketing.
