Job Description
Role Summary
The role involves managing daily SOC operations, monitoring alarms, and handling network outages
following SOPs. Responsibilities include first-level troubleshooting, DDoS mitigation, data center
access management, equipment maintenance, and providing monthly and incident reports.
Main Accountabilities:
- Provide technical support and fault management for network products and services,
monitoring customer router alarms and DDoS attacks. - Manage daily SOC operations, including traffic health reporting.
- Handle customer service issues and network outages according to SOC processes and SOPs.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed, especially for core
network or physical last-mile access layer problems. - Monitor network and services, manage Data Center access, and adhere to SOPs.
- Be proficient with Telegram and quick to learn.
- Provide monthly and incident reports to customers.
- Perform tasks such as rebooting equipment, resetting sub-equipment, reading serial
numbers, and more. - Assist with physical installation, relocation, or movement of equipment and provide visual

Requirements:
- Degree in Data Communications and Networking, any Engineering field.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in a Network Operation Centre environment.
- Willing to work on 24 x 7 shift and standby.
- Able to handle pressure as job scope entails meeting high standards of organizational KPIs
- Proficient in written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Flexible individual who can adapt well.
