About the Role

We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will serve as a key executor in ensuring software reliability and product quality. You will take ownership of both manual exploratory testing and the development of robust automated test scripts.

The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of QA experience, a strong “break-it” mindset, and proven expertise in API testing. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify complex defects, automate recurring tests, and support smooth, high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse product requirements and design clear test plans and test cases to ensure system reliability.

• Execute manual exploratory, functional, regression, and integration testing to maintain product quality.

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks to support faster release cycles.

• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify edge cases and resolve defects.

• Track, log, and report bugs, provide updates on testing progress, and support root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in software QA testing, with a strong mix of manual and automation testing.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, automation scripting (Python/Java/JavaScript), UI and API testing tools, and familiarity with Gen AI tools for test automation.

• Detail-oriented with a “break-it” mindset and strong communication skills for clear bug reporting and test documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience testing across multiple platforms (web, mobile, APIs).

• Mandarin language proficiency is highly preferred due to the nature of business communication.
