PCB DESIGN ENGINEER

The PCB Design Engineer is responsible for schematic design, PCB layout development, and ensuring high-quality, manufacturable board designs that meet electrical and mechanical requirements. The role works closely with R&D, hardware engineers, and production teams to support product development and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Development

• Design and develop PCB layouts based on schematic and product requirements.
• Prepare and maintain PCBDOC, SCHDOC, and Gerber files for manufacturing.
• Ensure PCB layout complies with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability) guidelines.
• Perform component placement, routing, stack-up planning, and impedance control.

2. Technical Support

• Work closely with hardware/R&D engineers to optimize circuit performance.
• Support prototype builds, testing, debugging, and design revisions.
• Liaise with PCB fabricators and assembly vendors for technical clarification.

3. Documentation & Quality

• Maintain proper design documentation and revision control.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.
• Assist in troubleshooting PCB-related issues during production.

Requirements Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 2–5 years of PCB design experience (Senior position: 5+ years).
• Fresh graduate.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of multilayer PCB design, signal integrity, and power integrity.
• Familiar with Gerber generation, BOM preparation, and fabrication requirements.

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork ability.
