Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Content Creation: Assist in drafting and editing content for internal and external communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, and website content.
  • Media Relations: Support the communication team in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Monitor media coverage and create media reports.
  • Social Media Management: Help in managing and updating the company’s social media platforms with engaging content, responding to inquiries, and analyzing social media performance metrics.
  • Internal Communication: Assist in developing and implementing internal communication initiatives to keep employees informed about company news, updates, and events.
  • Event Support: Collaborate with the corporate communication team in planning and organizing corporate events, conferences, and employee engagement activities.
  • Branding and Collateral: Contribute to maintaining consistent branding across various communication materials, including brochures, presentations, and marketing collateral.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify communication trends, best practices, and potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Crisis Communication: Support the team in developing communication strategies during potential crisis situations, ensuring clear and timely messaging

 

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

  • Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to come up with innovative ideas for communication initiatives.
  • Knowledge of basic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate communication and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
