  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL) in Python (Django) and TypeScript.
  • Create robust end-to-end and browser automation using Selenium (and related tooling).
  • Model and optimize data in MySQL; write performant queries and migrations.
  • Work with Google App Engine and Firebase.
  • Instrument services for reliability (logging, tracing, metrics, alerts).
  • Own CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and release quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards & documentation.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years professional experience in backend development. (Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply—see “Who can apply.”)
  • Proficiency with Python and Django (DRF a plus).
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript for services, workers, or tooling.
  • Hands-on Selenium automation experience.
  • Strong SQL skills with MySQL (schema design, indexing, query tuning).
  • Experience with Firebase (at least Auth) and Google App Engine.
  • Clear communication, ownership mindset, and a bias to ship.
