Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Audit Intern role located in Kuala Lumpur. The Audit Intern will assist with the execution of audit procedures, preparation and review of financial statements, and analysis of financial data.
Responsibilities include supporting audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with team members to complete tasks effectively. The intern will gain hands-on experience in financial auditing while contributing to team success.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out audit assignments as assigned from time to time.
- Prepare working papers according to the firm’s standards.
- Assist in drafting financial statements and reports.
- Attend client stock count to observe stock take procedures and perform test count.
Qualifications
- Student pursuing either a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 months internship period.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and clients.
- Basic understanding of auditing principles and methodologies.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
