What is an AI Forward Deployed Engineer?

An AI FDE is the bridge between AI technology and real-world impact. You won’t just train models in a sandbox — you’ll deploy AI solutions directly into client environments, sit with end users on factory floors and in warehouses, understand their actual problems, and adapt our SnapCore? platform to solve them. It’s part engineer, part consultant, part problem-solver.

This is one of the most in-demand emerging roles in the AI industry — and one of the fastest ways to build a career that combines deep technical skills with client-facing experience.

This internship is designed as a genuine talent pipeline, not a one-off stint. Interns who perform well will be offered a permanent AI Forward Deployed Engineer position with a competitive package, structured career progression, and continued mentorship. What We’re Looking For

• Final-year student or fresh graduate in any of these areas: Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Business, Marketing, Communication, Management, or related fields
• For technical applicants: solid foundation in Python; exposure to AI/ML frameworks, APIs, or databases is a plus
• For business/communication applicants: strong writing and presentation skills; comfort with technology and genuine curiosity about AI — if you’ve experimented with ChatGPT, Canva, or automation tools, you’re already on the right path
• Comfortable communicating with real users — you’ll be explaining AI to warehouse supervisors and factory managers, not just to your lecturers
• Willing to travel occasionally to client sites in the Klang Valley and beyond
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage for certain client environments
