Job Description
Job Summary
As an Accounts Executive, you will be to prepare the full sets of accounts(Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Fixed Asset) and ensure accounts are accurate to comply with the requirements of respective statutory bodies.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly profit and loss, as well as balance sheet reports.
- Control and manage end-to-end financial processes in support of the accounts which includes collections, payments, monthly closing activities, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Ensure all accounting systems, practices, controls, and procedures fully comply with the Company’s policy.
- Establish effective internal control procedures to improve accounting and reporting systems.
- Ensure that all accounting records are properly updated and reconciled in the accounting system.
- Manage tax reporting and inventory processing.
- Prepare cash flow statements and control the expenditure and cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.
- Check the accuracy of financial records.
- Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by superior to support company operations.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- Possess at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably with operational auditing experience. However, fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
- Proficient with Accounting Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Committed, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
