Job Description

Based in Malaysia, Hata is a leading licensed digital asset exchange and brokerage platform.

We’re seeking passionate, eager-to-learn interns with strong written English skills to support our research and drafting efforts in the cryptocurrency space.

As an intern, you will be exposed to the legal and market research undertaken by a leading cryptocurrency business, while observing firsthand how a Digital Asset Exchange (DAX) operates within Malaysia’s regulatory framework.

Additionally, you will learn about the importance of compliance frameworks, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), and Counter-Proliferation Financing (CPF) policies. You will also gain hands-on experience in compliance operations related to DAXs, understanding how to operate the platform in a fully compliant manner.

You will report directly to the Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel, with mentorship opportunities from our CEO, who is happy to provide references for future career opportunities.
