Job Summary
The R&D Executive will play a key role in the development and improvement of lighting products and technologies. This position involves researching market trends, developing new LED luminaires, testing product performance, and collaborating with design, production, and quality teams to bring innovative lighting solutions to market.

Key Responsibilities
Research new lighting technologies, materials, and components (LEDs, optics, drivers, thermal solutions, controls).
Support the design and development of new luminaires and lighting systems from concept to prototype to production.
Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations of new product concepts.
Coordinate with suppliers to source and test new components and materials.
Assist in preparing technical documentation, specifications, and test reports.
Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure product designs meet performance, cost, and quality targets.
Perform product testing for lumen output, color temperature, efficiency, thermal management, and IP ratings.
Ensure compliance with relevant lighting standards and certifications.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for existing products — optimizing performance, cost, and reliability.
Keep up to date with market trends, new technologies, and competitor innovations.
Able to speak Mandarin to liase with factory in China
