Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist in creating user-centred designs by understanding business requirements, voice of customer, user journey, user feedback, and usability findings.
- Contribute to the design system and ensure that design standards are met across all products.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, designers, tech developers, and product managers to bring designs to life.
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:
- A strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful design processes and impactful solutions
- Proficiency in Figma (a must), with experience in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of UIUX principles and a passion for designing solutions that address real user needs
- Enthusiastic about exploring new ideas and embracing a culture of innovation
- Ability to explain design decisions clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Critical and creative thinking skills to tackle design challenges, especially for complex domains like insurance
- Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving industry
- Awareness of insurance or financial technology processes (preferred but not required)
- Experience in creating designs optimized for responsiveness and mobile-first approaches
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices in UI/UX design
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (a plus but not mandatory)
