Job Responsibilities

• To participate in the development, maintenance and support of application and platform software products and components
• Translating business requirements into technical and system specifications;
• Designing, developing and testing software and systems
• Enhancing and maintaining software and systems to a healthy and stable state
• Work closely with the project delivery team and the customer in order to meet challenging project delivery and time lines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent;
• Competent in Python, Java, Javascript and its related technologies;
• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, React JS/Native and Web Frameworks (eg. Laravel, CodeIgniter);
• Knowledgeable in Shell scripting on UNIX platforms;
• Knowledgeable in Databases (eg. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle, Hbase, MongoDB,

or Neo4j).

• Experienced in using Business Intelligence tools (eg. Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, MicroStrategy or QlikView/Qlik Sense), ETL Tools (eg. Talend, Apache NiFi, Informatica ETL) and Big Data Frameworks (e.g. Apache Hadoop) will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc will be an added advantage.
