Job Description

The HR Intern – Training and Development will be responsible for assisting the HR department in preparing training materials, creating work instructions for various work processes, and maintaining company standard operating procedures (SOPs). The intern will play a vital role in ensuring that employees have the necessary resources and guidelines to perform their job effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and creation of training materials:
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and content for training programs.
    • Design and format training materials such as presentations, handouts, and online modules.
    • Incorporate visual aids and interactive elements to enhance learning experience.
  2. Create work instructions for work processes:
    • Observe and understand various work processes within the organization.
    • Document step-by-step procedures and guidelines for different tasks and workflows.
    • Ensure clarity and accuracy in the work instructions, considering the target audience.
  3. Maintain company standard operating procedures (SOPs):
    • Review and update existing SOPs to reflect current processes and best practices.
    • Work closely with departments to identify areas where new SOPs are needed.
    • Organize and manage the SOP repository to ensure easy access and version control.
  4. Collaborate with HR team members:
    • Coordinate with HR professionals to gather information and requirements for training and documentation projects.
    • Seek feedback and incorporate suggested revisions to improve the quality and effectiveness of materials.
    • Participate in team meetings and discussions to contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements.
  5. Support training and onboarding initiatives:
    • Assist in coordinating training sessions, workshops, and other learning activities.
    • Help with the logistics of training events, including scheduling, room setup, and material distribution.
    • Provide administrative support in maintaining training records and tracking employee progress.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, BM & Mandarin.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Google Form is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
