Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To simulate the performance (the unit capacity & efficiency) of the air conditioning unit and base on the simulation to design and select the component of the air.
  • To liaise and coordinate and design/develop with all departments on each particular product range.
  • To assist industrial engineers in ensuring a smooth flow of production.
  • To introduce new products or improve on existing products.
  • To gather necessary and useful information on ways to improve the company’s product range and manufacturing methods.
  • To coordinate with distributors and also to extend relationship with our suppliers.
  • To develop new product design to cater for current and future markets.
  • To gather, compile and supply technical information on design part of each product range.
  • To coordinate with Production & QC Department to ensure quality of finished products.
  • To create, change and check the Material Master and BOM in GDE & SAP.
  • To design, develop and conduct simulation on products’ structure parts, piping and packaging to ensure product meet customer expectation.
  • Component sourcing, selection & standardization for the particular technology field.
  • To manage and ensure fabrication of prototype, jigs, moulds and dies meet schedule.
  • To identify, troubleshoot and provide solutions on customers’ complaints.
  • To suggest, review and improve on company’s design and testing standard.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable university with CGPA 3.0/ 2nd upper and above.
  • Understanding of air-conditioning theory and the associated components.
  • Experience in project handling will be advantages.
  • Candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skill, decision making, problem solving skill and good project management skills.
